With pro entry fees remaining stable at $1,700 since 2020, the Toyota Series Presented by Phoenix Boats continues to be one of the best options for triple-A fishing. The six divisions feature reasonable travel and great fisheries, so there’s an option for just about everyone looking to get in on the action, be it on the pro side or as a Strike King co-angler.

To sign up, you can enter at MajorLeagueFishing.com or call 270.252.1000.

Toyota Series Championship offers huge rewards

The highlight event of the fall, the nationally televised Toyota Series Championship is a huge event where pros fish for $235,00, including a $35,000 Phoenix MLF Bonus, and co-anglers compete for a $33,500 Phoenix 518 Pro bass boat powered by a 115 HP Mercury or Suzuki. The Toyota Series is the only regional circuit of its kind with a no-entry-fee world championship.

The winning pro at the Toyota Series Championship qualifies for REDCREST 2025 and the chance to win $300,000, and the highest-finishing pro from each division, including the Wild Card, at the Toyota Series Championship receives a $10,000 bonus.

Build the perfect schedule for YOU with the Wild Card Division

While the six standard regional divisions are packed with great lakes at great times, the Wild Card option gives anglers a chance to really control things. The Top 25 pros and co-anglers from the Wild Card Division make the Toyota Series Championship, and all you need to do is fish four or more tournaments in any combination of divisions. Once you fish four, the three best finishes count in the points race.

A great Wild Card schedule might feature the Southwestern Division plus a trip to Grand Lake in Oklahoma, or maybe a couple of Oklahoma tournaments and a swing into Texas. Or, for someone looking to catch a smallmouth or two, hit a few tournaments in the sunny south early in the year and then Lake Champlain and the St. Lawrence River to finish the season. If you’re interested in the best odds of making the championship, then it could be worth a trip out west, where the fields tend to be smaller and the fisheries are bucket-listers.

First few events look great

The whole schedule is stacked, but the first four events of the season should be barnburners.

Things kick off with a Southern Division event at Lake Okeechobee at the end of January. Trust us, South Florida is the place to be when the rest of the country is dealing with snow. Then the Central Division gets underway on Lake Guntersville, which has been kicking out huge bags all fall. Sam Rayburn is where the Southwestern Division will start, and if it’s anything like last year, there will be fireworks – the final day in 2023 featured four bags over 25 pounds.

Finally, the Western Division Presented by Tackle Warehouse starts what could be a special season on the left coast. There’s hope for some truly top-tier fishing when the action starts at Clear Lake, then the schedule continues to Havasu in May and the California Delta in June.
