WHAT IS IT?

Daiwa D-Box

WHAT SETS IT APART?

These sturdy containers feature weathertight lids that secure with four strong latches that snap into place to ensure worry-free transportation. With 3600 and 3700 models, Daiwa offers its D-Box in six configurations: shallow, regular and deep for both sizes. Inside each D-Box, clean cut tabs facilitate organization by maintaining internal placement. The 3600 size includes 12 compartments, while the 3700 size boxes have 20 compartments.

HOW DO I USE IT?

Daiwa’s design and technology are well-established in the rod and reel business, and with a robust assortment of hard and soft baits, it makes sense the company would create a premium tacklebox for transporting lures and the terminal tackle they require. In that spirit, Daiwa’s D-Box Tackle System boxes offer spacious accommodations for whatever the fishery requires. Whether it’s a mix of jerkbaits like Daiwa’s DR and TD Minnows, topwaters like the double prop Bessie, a selection of soft plastics like the Neko Fat or an assortment of hooks, weights, swivels and split rings, Daiwa has it covered.

HOW MUCH?

From $13.99

ANGLER’S INSIGHT:

When the bite is on and you need a particular bait — maybe a specific color — in a hurry, you don’t have time to shuffle through multiple tackle trays. Designing the D-Boxes with clear lids, Daiwa makes it easy to quickly identify contents. Along with accommodating larger baits, or tall stacks of plastics, the deep models feature notched dividers for hanging jigs and spinnerbaits. Across the board, Daiwa stresses environmental stewardship by building the D-Boxes from 100% recycled plastic.
