The Mag-Z Boost Spool design centers on G1 Duralumin, a rigid flex-resistant aluminum alloy that reduces weight without sacrificing durability and yields less start-up inertia. One of the more subtle, yet immensely impactful elements of Daiwa’s STEEZ A 100 is the Automatic Tournament Drag, which uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest and becomes more viscous immediately after drag start-up. This results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up. While the price isn’t for everyone, Daiwa promises a product worth the investment on the front end and peace of mind on the back end.
