GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Team Knighten Industries is heading to the Bass Pro Shops Team Series Championship after winning the first semifinals match at the Lucas Oil Qualifier Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches. Wesley Strader, Scott Suggs and Matt Becker took the victory by catching 91 bass weighing 146 pounds, 10 ounces.
However, the game’s not over for team B&W Trailer Hitches (Adrian Avena, Spencer Shuffield and Ryan Salzman). Placing second with 94 bass weighing 132-10 grants them another chance at advancing if they can win the Wild Card round against the runner-up from Match 2 of the semifinals. Team Kubota (Jacob Wheeler, Boyd Duckett and Dylan Hays) put up a good fight, narrowly missing the No. 2 position by 8 pounds with 78 bass weighing 124-11.
The MLF General Tire Team Series Lucas Oil Qualifier Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches will air on Outdoor Channel as six two-hour original episodes each Saturday afternoon starting Jan. 6, 2024, airing from 2-4 p.m. EDT.
