Okuma announced the release of its latest creation – a high-end bass fishing rod that combines cutting-edge technology, expert craftsmanship and unparalleled performance. Designed to meet the demands of even the most dedicated anglers.

X-Series Bass Rods feature the latest technology and highest quality materials, providing performance and precision while fishing. X-Series Bass Rods are constructed with light yet responsive 46-ton Toray carbon blanks that provide exceptional sensitivity and strength. Okuma reinforced the blanks with their proprietary UXR—Ultimate X Reinforced Multi-Directional Fiber Technology—which significantly enhances its durability and responsiveness.

Comprising 11 models, The X-Series suits a variety of fishing styles and environments. The series includes six casting models and five spinning models, with lengths ranging from 7-foot to 7-foot 6-inches, and actions ranging from medium-light to heavy.

Okuma has spared no expense when it comes to the components used to build the X-Series. To ensure tangle-free casting and superior line management, the X-Series rods feature Fuji KW-concept angled guide frames. These guides help reduce line twist and tangles, allowing anglers to cast farther and more accurately. Fuji SiC guide inserts with deep pressed frames further enhance the smoothness of the line and reduce friction. Each of the X-Series casting models is equipped with a SeaGuide HSCTM Hyper-Sensitive Carbon Reel Seat, while the spinning models feature a Fuji VSS reel seat, enabling a direct and sensitive connection to the rod blank. The tapered cork grip with contoured EVA rear grip design provides a comfortable and secure grip even in wet conditions, while also improving accuracy and sensitivity.

“X-Series Bass Rods have been years in the making and we couldn’t be more excited to finally bring them to market”, said John Bretza, Director of Product Development at Okuma Fishing USA. “Our team has worked tirelessly to develop a rod that not only exceeds our own high standards but also the expectations of the most demanding anglers. We’re confident that the combination of advanced materials and technologies will make the X-Series rods a go-to choice for any bass angler looking to up their game on the water.”

X-Series Bass Rods are available at a retail price of $279.99 to $299.99 and are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. For more information, visit okumafishingusa.com.
